But due to the fact that Troutclan already had a medicine cat apprentice, Dapplepaw, they had to make her a warrior apprentice instead

Historical
Circumstances of Birth
- No feline ever admitted it, but everyone in Troutclan knew Pebblekit was born to be leader some day. Her mother, Barkflower, was Tawnystar's daughter, and her father Cinderstep was a very trusted warrior. Pebblekit was also very leaderly with good decision skills. Even the medicine cat at the time, Vinetail, recived a prophecy confirming it. Because of this, Pebblekit had become quite self-centered, which definately didn't help with her relationship with Driftkit.
- Driftkit was an accident, and an unwelcomed one at that. His parents, Birchmask and Rabbitfang were much like high school sweethearts. When Driftkit came along, his parents agreed that they make use of him. And so, a silent deal was struck between Barkflower, Cinderstep, Birchmask, and Rabbitfang. That their kits, Driftkit and Pebblekit, were to be mates, weither they liked it or not.....
- While apprentices, Driftpaw and Pebblepaw absoloutely HATED eachother. Driftpaw believing Pebblepaw was stuck-up and rude, while Pebblepaw believed Driftpaw was cold and brash. And yet, to their displeasure, they were always ordered to train together by their parents, in an attempt to make them bond. They never got into full on fights, but the did often hiss at and threaten one another.
- When Driftleap and Pebblestone (don't even @ me on that name) recieved their warrior names, they were told about their arranged relationship. Unsurprisingly, neither one of them recived it well, and it just made their relationship even more strained, distant, and hateful. When Tawnystar lost her last life, her deputy Larkbreeze became leader. And, much to Driftleap's disdain, chose Pebblestone as her deputy. Then, once Larkstar died, Pebblestone became Pebblestar, and she soon had a litter of kittens on the way.
Kithood (0-6 moons)
- Palekit was quiet, shy, and nervous since birth. Espically when compaired to her siblings, Ryekit, Petalkit, and Finchkit. Though her parent's relationship was cold and unloving, they both adored her and her siblings. Palekit's life was perfectly sound, espically when she was with her brother and closest friend, Finchkit. Palekit also had another friend, Ravenkit. Ravenkit was, similliar to Palekit, a very reserved kit. She seemed to have an intense hatred of her siblings, Flashkit, Thornkit, and Dawnkit, for no apparent reason. Palekit and Ravenkit still managed to be good friends, up until they became apprentices.
Apprenticehood (6-12 moons)
- When Palepaw became an apprentice, she was given Lilydapple as a mentor. Though Palepaw enjoyed the fact that her mentor was strong and brave, Lilydapple felt the exact opposite. Lilydapple wanted a strong apprentice, one who was brave and willing to thrust head-on into battle. But instead, all she got was nervous little Palepaw. Palepaw started to develop feelings for Ravenpaw, and soon enough, they were a couple. However Finchpaw, who was still very close to Palepaw, started to notice the cracks in their relationship. Ravenpaw became very controlling, and borderline abusive. Finchpaw took Palepaw out of the camp and to the border of Troutclan's territory. Finchpaw managed to convince Palepaw to run away, as he was sure that her relationship with Ravenpaw would just get worse and worse until she ended up killing Palepaw. Before she left, Palepaw said that she would come back for Finchpaw someday, even if it were the last thing she ever did. She then set out to find a new clan, far far away from Troutclan.
